Agreement and eligibility

These terms govern your use of Real Chinese Name and any naming service you purchase. By placing an order, you confirm that you can enter into a binding agreement. A purchaser must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where they live.

A parent or legal guardian may purchase a service for a minor and is responsible for providing any required consent.

The service

Real Chinese Name provides personalized language and cultural naming consultation. Deliverables depend on the package shown on the pricing and checkout pages. The service is not legal-name registration, identity verification, or a guarantee that every person or institution will have the same subjective impression of a name.

Prices, taxes, and payment

Prices are displayed in US dollars and are one-time charges, not subscriptions. The checkout page shows the final amount before payment. Applicable taxes may be calculated using the billing location and shown at checkout.

When Waffo is identified at checkout, Waffo acts as merchant of record, processes the transaction, handles applicable indirect taxes and invoices, and applies itsBuyer Terms. These terms continue to govern our delivery of the naming service and your use of its deliverables. We do not receive or store full payment-card details.

When work begins

Payment reserves the order, but personalized work begins only after we receive a sufficiently complete questionnaire and start reviewing or researching the request. We may ask for clarification before work begins or pause an order when material information is missing.

Delivery

The standard delivery target is three business days after a complete questionnaire is received. Delivery is digital. Exact timing, incomplete questionnaires, customer access, and delays are covered by ourDelivery Policy.

Revisions, cancellation, and refunds

Eligible naming packages include one limited revision requested within seven days after delivery. A revision adjusts the work within the original brief; a materially new brief or recipient is a new service. Cancellation and refund eligibility are described in ourRefund and Cancellation Policy. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Customer responsibilities

You must provide accurate information, submit only material you have the right to share, protect private report links, and use the service lawfully. You must not submit passwords, payment credentials, government identification, or unrelated highly sensitive information.

Use of the service is also subject to ourAcceptable Use Policy.

Customer material and permission

You retain your rights in information, text, and audio you submit. You give us a limited permission to process that material only as needed to provide, secure, support, and lawfully administer the service.

Deliverables and permitted use

After full payment, you may use your delivered personal-name recommendations for personal and professional self-identification. The explanatory report, layout, research presentation, and site content remain protected material and may not be resold, republished in full, or used to train a commercial naming service without written permission.

No professional guarantees outside scope

The service does not provide trademark clearance, business-name approval, fortune telling, bazi, feng shui, legal, tax, investment, or immigration advice. You are responsible for determining whether a recommended name is suitable for a legal, regulated, or high-stakes use.

Case publication

Customer information and work will not be published as a case or testimonial without separate explicit permission. Any authorized case is manually edited to remove identifying details.

Your personal name page is private by default. If you use its publication control, you authorize public access to only the name-page fields identified in that control. You may make the page private again, but we cannot retrieve copies made by others while the page was public. Publishing a name page does not separately authorize a testimonial, edited case study, questionnaire, recording, order information, or full private report.

Service changes and availability

We may refuse an unsupported request, suspend access needed to protect the service, or update these terms for future use. Material changes apply from the updated date shown on this page and do not remove rights already earned under a completed purchase.
